FG restates commitment to improving living condition


The Federal government is working round the clock to improve the living standard of Nigerians especially the vulnerable, underserved and people living with disability.

Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, stated this during the launch of palliative distribution in Kaduna.

Senator Remi Tinubu, who was represented by the Wife of the Kaduna State Governor, Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani said the palliative was designed to cushion the effects of economic hardship on the less privileged across the country.

She explained that, the President is aware of the economic situation in the country and is doing everything necessary to turn-around the situation, urging for patience and cooperation of the citizens.

Earlier, Kaduna State Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Rabi Salisu, revealed that, two thousand four hundred bags of rice donated by the wife of the President was distributed to two thousand four hundred beneficiaries that include People With Disabilities, orphanage homes, widows and women infected by HIV among others.

Hajiya Rabi Salisu explained that the wife of the Kaduna State Governor also donated cash to each of the beneficiaries to ease in the transportation of the palliative back to their homes.

The Commissioner urged the beneficiaries not to sell the palliative, but to use it for the benefit of themselves and their families.
