KDSG to train youth on digital skills


Kaduna state government says it will train about one hundred thousand youths and owners of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises across the twenty-three Local Government Areas of Kaduna State on various digital skills.

The State Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe disclosed this during the official launch of the Kaduna Digital Skills Programme for Youths and owners of Small and Medium Enterprises held at KadICT Hub, Kaduna.

Speaking during the event, Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Stakeholders Relation, Engineer Martins Galadima said the programme aims to equip individuals and businesses with essential knowledge to thrive in the modern economy.

The Deputy Governor explained that, the initiative is also part of the administration's vision to harness digital opportunities for job creation and economic prosperity in the State.

Earlier, Senior Special Assistant to the Kaduna State Governor on ICT, Engineer Shu'aibu Kabir Bello said the initiative serves as a testament to the state's unwavering commitment to equipping young entrepreneurs with requisite knowledge to excel in today's dynamic business landscape.
