FAAC shares over N1.68 trillion to federal, states and LG for 2025

Over N1.681 trillion being April 2025 Federation Account Revenue, has been shared to the Federal Government, States and the Local Government Councils. 

A statement released by FAAC spokesperson, Bawa Mokwa, on Friday, said the revenue was shared at the May 2025 Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting held in Abuja.

From the one point six, eight, one trillion-naira total distributable revenue, the Federal Government received over five hundred and sixty- five billion naira and the State Governments received over five hundred and fifty – six billion naira. 

The Local government Council received over four hundred and six billion naira, while over one hundred and fifty-two billion naira, 13%, of mineral revenue, was shared to the benefiting State as derivation revenue.
