The Federal Government, has reiterated its commitment to bridging Nigeria’s digital divide, with a renewed focus on sustainability and partnerships to expand connectivity across underserved and unserved communities.
Speaking at the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, emphasized the federal government’s long-standing efforts in allocating funds from USPF to provide critical digital infrastructure such as computer labs and connectivity towers to remote areas.
He explained that while investments have been made in schools and communities through computer labs and connectivity projects, the current focus is on ensuring the long-term sustainability of these initiatives.
