Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has expressed the state government’s commitment in taking developmental projects to all the nook and crannies of the state for enhanced socio-economic activities.
The Governor stated this in his remarks during the commissioning ceremony of the completed Kagarko township road, Kagarko Local Government Area.
He said his administration gives much priority to providing good roads to ease vehicular movement and give businesses, especially farming in rural areas an enablement to thrive.
In a welcome address, the Chairman of Kagarko Local Government, Muhuyideen Abdullahi Umar said Kagarko Local Government has not witnessed any road construction for the past twenty years.
He assured of continuous support to enable the governor succeed in moving the state forward.
Meanwhile, the governor also expressed determination in providing portable water to the people in the state.
He stated this when he visited Birnin Gwari Water Board to inspect the water plant in the area with the aim of ensuring it's full restoration.
Birnin Gwari local government has been in dire need of portable water supply for many years, exacerbated by insecurity which is now a thing of the past.
Speaking during the visit the state Governor, Senator Uba Sani represented by the Managing Director, Kaduna State Water Corporation, Engineer Kabir Ahmed Alkali said the visit is aimed at restoring portable water supply to the people in the area.
He stressed that the water scarcity among the people will soon be history as the state government is poised to meet the yearning of the people by inspecting all the water supply centres in the state.
Uba Sani commended the staff of the water plant for their diligence to duty and for maintaining the facility.
On his part, the chairman, Birnin Gwari local government Malam Salisu Isah represented by the council secretary, Malam Yahaya Musa Dawakin Bassa thanked the state Governor for the visit, calling on the people in the area to continue to support the government in it's quest to better their lives.
He also commended the state Governor for its impactful role in ensuring peace and stability in the area.
