Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council has expressed determination to foster collaboration with business owners across the thirteen Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State to boost the state’s economy.

Director General of the PEBEC, Zahrah Mustapha Audu, stated this during a town hall meeting with business stakeholders from the 13 LGAs, held in Lafia.

She said the meeting, which would also be held across other states of the federation, is in line with the Federal Government’s commitment to improve Nigeria’s business environment for the growth and stability of the country.

Audu explained that states are the engines of local economic development, underscoring the need for policies, infrastructure, and service delivery that directly impacts the ease of doing business in every community.

On his part, Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, represented by his Deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, said residents can now obtain a Land Certificate of Occupancy within a space of one month, owing to reforms aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business.
