Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has flagged off the construction of the Kwoi Township Roads in Jaba Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, Governor Sani said the project, which is part of his administration's commitment to take development to rural communities marks another milestone in his infrastructural development drive.
The Governor pointed out that the execution of rural and township road projects remain top priorities under his development agenda to boost local economies, and improve the living standards of residents.
He said access to quality roads is also central to agricultural development, trade, and the overall security of communities.
Governor Sani assured that the road construction will be completed within five months.
Earlier, the council Chairman, Mrs Larai Sylvia Isyaku, who described the project as monumental, said it will bring relief to residents in the area after about fifteen years of neglect.
