The All Progressives Congress, APC, has held a mega rally in Southern Kaduna to formally receive new members who recently decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Among those who joined the APC are Senator Representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial District, Sunday Marshal Katung, the Member of the House of Representatives for Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, and several other notable political figures from the zone.
The event, which took place at the Kafanchan Township Stadium, attracted party leaders, supporters, and government officials from across Kaduna State and beyond.
Addressing the crowd, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani welcomed the new members, describing their defection as a sign of growing confidence in the party’s leadership and policies at both the Federal and state levels.
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Senator Katung said the decision to join the APC was driven by the desire to work with a broader political platform to bring more development to Southern Kaduna.
