Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has reassured the people of the state of his administration’s unwavering commitment to sustained development across all sectors.
The governor gave the assurance during the 2026 Atakapu Festival of Arts and Culture (AFAN), in Kagoro, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Represented by his Deputy, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Governor Uba Sani emphasized that his administration will continue to prioritize infrastructure development, social intervention programmes, agriculture, and healthcare delivery for the benefit of all citizens.
He noted that the relative peace currently enjoyed in many parts of the state is the result of sustained collaboration among government, traditional rulers, and security agencies.
Governor Sani said the improved security situation has enabled rural communities to return to their farms and freely engage in socio-cultural and economic activities.
In her remarks, the chairperson of the occasion, Barrister Deborah Usman, praised the people of Kagoro for their resilience and meaningful contributions to the development of Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State, and the nation.
Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of Kaura Local Government Council, Mr. Obadiah Sankyai, commended Governor Uba Sani for his dedication to peaceful coexistence across Kaduna State, which he said has created an enabling environment for socio-economic activities to thrive.
Delivering royal blessings, the Chief of Kagoro, Dr. Ufwai Bonet, called on the entire Kagoro nation to continue to live in peace, remain law-abiding, and support government at all levels for sustained development.
Earlier in his address, the President of the Gworok Development Association, Barrister Simon John Mutu, urged sons and daughters of Gworok to remain united and thankful to God for the peace and numerous blessings enjoyed in the area.
