The National Youth Service Corps has announced that the National Identity Number is a mandatory requirement for the 2024 Batch B service year registration.
This was disclosed on the scheme’s official social media handle on Saturday.
It informed all prospective corps members that National Identification Number (NIN) is a compulsory requirement for them to register for NYSC mobilisation into national service,” the NYSC management stated.
However, some PCMs have encountered issues linking their NIN to the registration platform.
In response, the NYSC assured them that it is working with the National Identification Management Commission to resolve the technical issues.
The commission advised affected PCMs to exercise patience and await a solution.
