The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has restated determination to discharging its mandate of mobilizing the people towards national unity and development.
Director General of the Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu stated this in an interview with newsmen.
The NOA Director General said the agency, once abandoned and ineffective has been revived under President Bola Tinubu administration to perform its constitutional duty effectively.
Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu noted that under the present administration, the agency has regained its strength and is now channeling it towards reorienting Nigerians to believe in the country once again.
The NOA Boss said the agency has embarked on a national campaign to reconnect with staff across all 774 local government areas, spreading what he described as “a message of hope” and reviving their belief in the agency’s purpose.
Mallam Issa-Onilu acknowledged the tangible progress Nigeria witnessed in the last two years across critical sectors including infrastructure, the economy, education as well as the oil and gas.
