President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned the Vocational and skills Acquisition City in Rigachikun, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna.
This is part of the President's one-day official visit to the state to commission some developmental projects executed by the state Governor, Senator Uba Sani.
The centre, which is one of the three constructed by the state government is part of the initiative to tackle unemployment and equip the state's teeming youths with practical skills to compete in the technological industry.
Each centre is expected to train about four thousand artisans on thirteen various skills including welding, carpentry, ICT, solar power installation, tilling, POP making and fashion design among others.
Similarly, the President Tinubu has also commissioned a newly completed 300-bed hospital in New Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area.
Inherited from the previous administration at less than 60% completion, the state of the art facility is meant to enhance access to quality healthcare for thousands of residents and reduce pressure on existing public hospitals.
The facility which has been under construction for about twelve years is tooled with the needed equipment to render growing health issues and reduce medical tourism in Nigeria.
