Kaduna NSCDC parades 3 suspected vandals

In its continuous efforts to protect critical national assets in the state, the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC has paraded three suspected vandals in the state.

The State Commandant of the Corp, Panam Musa Buba said the arrest followed a series of intelligence operations carried out by operatives of the command.   

Briefing journalists at the Command’s headquarters in Kaduna, the NSCDC Corp Commandant, Panam Musa Buba explained that the vandals – Sani Adamu, 18, Abdulrahman Isiya, 18, and Ismail Musa, 20 were apprehended while trying to dispose of electrical generator parts belonging to Kauru General Hospital in Pambegua.

He explained that items recovered from them include an electrical generator casing, a bunch of damaged copper wires.


Describing the act as deliberate sabotage to national development, the Corps Commandant reaffirmed the commitment of the security agency to the protection of all critical national assets and infrastructure.

The NSCDC commandant added that investigations are still ongoing, after which the arrested suspects would be charged in court.

While assuring the Corps' unwavering commitment to the safety, life, and critical national assets, Musa Buba called on the general public to be vigilant and support security agencies by providing them with timely information and suspicious activities around public infrastructure.
