FRSC redeploys senior officers nationwide for efficiency

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has approved the redeployment of senior officers across the country to enhance leadership efficiency and strengthen road safety operations.  

A statement issued by the FRSC spokesperson, Olusegun Ogungbemide, said the strategic changes involve the appointment of three Deputy Corps Marshals, two Assistant Corps Marshals, and 24 Corps Commanders to key positions within the organization.  

The statement emphasized that the redeployments align with the Corps’ ongoing commitment to safer road use across Nigeria and the optimization of its leadership structure to boost performance.  

Olusegun in the statement also announced new appointments for Sector Commanders in several states, including Ekiti, Plateau, Katsina, Kano, Kaduna, Minna, Kogi, Bayelsa, Taraba, Jigawa, Osun, Imo, and Zamfara, to reinforce traffic management and road safety enforcement nationwide.
