KDSG restates commitment to supporting Federal University of Applied Sciences Kachia

Kaduna state government has reiterated it's commitment to providing necessary logistical support to the Federal University of Applied Sciences Kachia, to smoothen the take-off of the institution in September.

The state governor, Senator Uba Sani made this known during a meeting with the institution's Board Members and Stakeholders, led by the Pro-Chancellor, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah to review progress so far made and to strengthen collaboration between the Government and the university.  

The governor presented a car each to the Pro-Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, as well as a bus for students and staff.

Governor Sani expressed his administration's readiness to support the university through the provision of infrastructure like roads for better access, highlighting  collaboration with security agencies to ensure a safe and secure learning and teaching environment for efficiency.


During the meeting, the Pro-Chancellor and Vice Chancellor commended the state government for its support, especially in facilitating the establishment of the university and preparing it ahead of the admission of its pioneer students. 

They noted that the proactive backing from the state has been instrumental in laying a strong foundation for the institution’s takeoff.

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, stands as a beacon of hope, a catalyst for change and a vehicle for transforming the socio-economic landscape of the region.
